ELENA HAJIROUSSOU

Founder and Partner


Elena is the founder and Partner of Elena Hajiroussou LLC. Elena graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics from Keele University, England in 1991 and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1993.

Elena has extensive experience in advising on private, public and European company law, commercial contracts, trusts, international franchises, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, property law, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, shipping (wet) and bare-boat chartering, trademarks, and wills.

Elena is also a visiting Lecturer for a leading bank in Cyprus and a permanent external Legal Advisor for Consulco Group.

Elena is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.

OLGA MARKOVA

Consultant


Dual Qualified English and Russian lawyer, Olga studied for her English law qualification with BPP University College in London. Olga is a Solicitor of the Higher Courts of England & Wales, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in England, holds LL.M. in Professional Legal Practice awarded by BPP University College in London, and is a Full Member (TEP) of STEP.

Olga has more than twenty years of international legal advisory experience and specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, trusts and succession planning.

As a Russian qualified lawyer, Olga has high profile tender-winning track record in the Russian telecommunications law.

Native Russian speaker, Olga is fluent in English.

ANDRIA KOUKOUNIS

Advocate, Barrister-at-Law, MCIArb


Andria holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Warwick in England and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from the University College London. Andria is a Barrister-at-Law of Grays Inn since 2007 and Advocate member of the Cyprus Bar since 2009. Since 2010 Andria is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Andria is an experienced litigation lawyer with a successful track record in complex international litigation cases and ex parte injunctions. Andria represented international oil companies in cartel investigations, opined on high profile joint ventures, and advised investment funds on corporate finance, real estate acquisitions, and commercial transactions.

Andria is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.

VALENTINI IOANNOU

Advocate


Valentini holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master in Commercial Law awarded by the University of Derby in England, and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2011.

Valentini advises international clients on corporate governance and corporate commercial matters, prepares court applications and legal opinions, and coordinates cross-border transactions. Valentini is also the firm's expert in the registration of trademarks and other intellectual property in Cyprus, in the EU, and globally, and in ship registrations.

Valentini is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.

ANASTASIA PIPERIDOU

Advocate


Anastasia holds a law degree awarded by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She also holds a Master of Laws in European Law, awarded by the London Metropolitan University, UK.

Anastasia was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2007, and her experience includes advising on company, commercial, banking and property law, mergers, cross border mergers, and re - domiciliations.

Anastasia is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.


ARGYRIS PANTELI

Advocate, MCIArb


Argyris holds a Bachelor or Law (Hons) from Liverpool John Moores University in England, a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from University of Leicester, UK, and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2012. In 2014 he became a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in London as Member Arbitrator (MCIArb).

Argyris represents clients in corporate and civil litigation cases and acts as counsel or arbitrator in alternative disputes resolution. He assists and advises clients on corporate and commercial transactions, real estate acquisitions, corporate matters, commercial agreements, and legal opinions.

Argyris is a native Greek speaker and is fluent in English.

CHRISTIANA CHRISTOFI

Advocate



Christiana is a Cyprus advocate, admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2012, and holds LL.B. of the University of Leeds, UK and LL.M. in International Commercial Law (Kings College, London).

Christiana represents clients in corporate and civil litigation cases and advises on a wide spectrum of matters related to regulation of financial services and debt financing. Christiana also has a solid company law experience having worked for a number of years for highly acclaimed Cyprus law firms.

ANDREAS CHRISTOFOROU

Advocate


Andreas holds a Bachelor of Laws degree awarded by the University of Kent, United Kingdom (LL.B.). He was later admitted to Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) where he attended a program jointly managed by the Max Planck Institute, the Universität Augsburg, the Technische Universität München and The George Washington University Law School, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property (LL.M.). He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2011. He is also an accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator by the ADR Group UK.

Andreas has successfully advised companies and organisations in the field of Corporate and Commercial Law in Cyprus and abroad.

Andreas is a native Greek speaker and is fluent in English.


STAVRIANA ANTONIOU

Advocate


Stavriana holds a Bachelor of Laws degree awarded by Democritus University of Thrace and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2011. She was an active member of the Corporate and Legal Affairs Committee of the Cyprus Fiduciary Association for 2 years.

Stavriana's experience includes providing legal opinions, legal consulting, and preparations of compliance reports.
Her current duties and responsibilities are assisting in the development of trust and legal services and resources for multi-family-office clients including trusts, investment SPVs, immigration and residence, and compliance services. She is also responsible for the preparation and implementation of marketing tools.

Stavriana is a native Greek speaker and is fluent in English.

Yianna Frantzi

Advocate


Yianna is a Junior Legal Advisor in the Legal and Corporate Services Department.

She obtained her law degree (LLB) from the University of Bradford and Master’s degree (LLM) in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham. She has completed the Legal Practice Course with a Master in Science in Business, Law and Management at the University of Law. She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2017.

Her responsibilities are focused on general corporate and commercial law matters including but not limited to company formation, drafting of corporate and commercial agreements or other relevant documents. She also appears before the District Court and “provision of legal opinions”. Main areas of practice are Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Litigation, Mergers and Acquisitions and cross border transactions.

Yianna is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.
